Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

Note: These terms are written in plain language and are not legal advice. Have a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction review them before relying on them.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Sheets Bootcamp, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website.

Use of Content

All content on Sheets Bootcamp, including tutorials, articles, code examples, and graphics, is provided for educational purposes. You may:

  • Read and learn from our tutorials
  • Use code examples and formulas in your own spreadsheets
  • Share links to our content

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or republish our content without permission
  • Use our content for commercial training or courses without a license
  • Remove attribution or copyright notices

Accuracy of Information

We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information about Google Sheets. However:

  • Google Sheets features may change without notice
  • We cannot guarantee that all information is error-free
  • You should verify formulas and techniques in your own spreadsheets

No Professional Advice

Our tutorials are for educational purposes only. We do not provide professional, financial, legal, or business advice. Always consult appropriate professionals for specific business decisions.

Paid Courses

Alongside the free tutorials we sell paid courses, currently The Google Sheets Bootcamp. This section applies when you buy one.

What you are buying. A paid course is a digital product delivered as one or more Google Sheets files that you copy into your own Google Drive. There is no physical product, no login, and no software to install. You need a free Google account to use it.

Delivery. Access is delivered by email, usually within a few minutes of purchase, as a link that creates your own copy of the course files. If your access has not arrived within 24 hours, contact us and we will send it manually.

Payment. Purchases are processed by our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card details. Prices are listed in US dollars and you are responsible for any taxes or currency conversion charges your bank applies.

Pricing changes. We may change prices, run launch pricing, or offer discounts at any time. The price you paid at the time of purchase is the price that applies to you. A later price drop does not entitle you to a partial refund.

Lifetime access. Where a course is described as lifetime access, this means the course files are yours to keep permanently, in your own Google Drive, with no recurring fee. It does not mean we guarantee to update a course forever, and it is limited by the lifetime of the product itself. If we ever stop selling or maintaining a course, the copy already in your Drive keeps working.

Refunds

We offer a 30-day money back guarantee on paid courses. If the course is not right for you, email us within 30 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. You do not need to give a reason.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically take 5 to 10 business days to appear, depending on your bank. Because the course files are copied into your own Google Drive, we cannot revoke your copy after a refund, and we ask that you stop using it and delete it.

We may decline a refund where there is clear evidence of abuse, such as repeated buy-and-refund cycles or redistribution of the course files.

Course License and Permitted Use

When you buy a course we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it. You may:

  • Use the course yourself, on any of your own devices
  • Keep your copy indefinitely and revisit it whenever you like
  • Use anything you learn, including the formulas and techniques, in your own work, including commercial work
  • Adapt your own copy of the files however you want

You may not:

  • Share, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the course files or access links
  • Share one purchase across a team or classroom. Contact us if you need multiple seats
  • Republish the course content, in whole or in part, as your own material
  • Use the course as the basis of a competing course or paid training without written permission

We may revoke your license and access if you materially breach these terms.

Course Availability and Changes

Courses depend on Google Sheets, which is operated by Google and can change without notice. Grading in our courses is built from spreadsheet formulas, so a change to Google Sheets could in principle affect how an exercise behaves. We will make reasonable efforts to fix anything that breaks, but we do not warrant that a course will be free of errors or available without interruption.

We may add, revise, or reorganise course content over time. Improvements land in the master files, and existing buyers can request an up-to-date copy at no extra cost.

Email and Support

Buying a course, or requesting a free lesson, subscribes you to related emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, and unsubscribing does not affect your access to a course you have already bought. Support is provided by email on a best-efforts basis and is not a guaranteed response time.

User Conduct

When using our website or contacting us, you agree not to:

  • Submit false or misleading information
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use automated tools to scrape or download content
  • Engage in any activity that disrupts our services

Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property on Sheets Bootcamp are owned by us or our licensors. Google Sheets is a trademark of Google LLC, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of these external sites.

Limitation of Liability

Sheets Bootcamp and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website, our courses, or reliance on our content. This includes any loss of data or business loss resulting from a formula or technique you learned here. Always check important work yourself.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights, which may include a right to a refund independent of the guarantee described above.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
